What You'll Be Working With

  • and other leading technologies as required.

Core Responsibilities 

​

  • Install, terminate, test, and commission security system components

  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and system designs

  • Troubleshoot and support integrated security systems

  • Maintain clean, organized, and serviceable installations

  • Complete required documentation, including FLHAs, daily logs, deficiency reporting, and system notes

  • Communicate effectively with project managers, service teams, clients, and fellow technicians

  • Work independently or collaboratively within a small, capable team

  • Identify and communicate potential issues before they become project challenges

Travel 

​

  • Up to 35% travel depending on project demands

  • Local and regional work throughout Alberta

  • Out-of-province travel may be required for select projects

  • Multi-day and multi-week assignments may occur based on project requirements

​​

Requirements 

​

  • Proven experience installing and servicing electronic security systems

  • Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, and basic networking

  • Ability to read drawings and troubleshoot field issues independently

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills

  • Professional communication skills

  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

  • Willingness to travel as required

Preferred qualifications may include manufacturer certifications, networking experience, electrical experience, or advanced integration knowledge.

Technicians are expected to:

  • Complete Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs) before work begins

  • Follow company safety procedures and site-specific requirements

  • Use appropriate PPE and fall protection systems where required

  • Work safely in elevated, industrial, and construction environments

  • Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly

  • Participate in ongoing safety training and continuous improvement initiatives
