PROJECT MANAGER

The Role:
We are looking for a Project Manager who understands that successful delivery is built on planning, communication, and execution not reaction. This is not a coordination role. This is ownership of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the standard Shel-Bar is known for.
Position Overview:
Project Managers at Shel-Bar are responsible for leading integrated security and electrical projects across industrial, commercial, and institutional environments. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and communication, while supporting field teams and maintaining strong client relationships.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and close projects in alignment with scope and contract requirements
- Develop and manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Identify risks early and implement solutions proactively
- Review drawings, specifications, and system requirements
- Ensure project documentation is complete and accurate
- Monitor quality, safety, and overall project performance
- Travel
- Travel required based on project location
- Mix of office, site visits, and remote coordination
- Out-of-province travel may be required
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing construction, electrical, or security projects
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle and field operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with integrated systems (security, electrical, or technology) is an asset
- Proficiency with project management tools and digital reporting
